There are very few ways to wear a smoky eye bang in the middle of the day, and actor Diana Penty got it right when we met her at the launch of the Gigi Hadid X Maybelline New York collection launch. Make-up maestro, Elton J Fernandez created the sultry, minimal look for her using the gel liner from the same collection and one super easy trick. “I used the kajal inside the waterline and on it, but I didn’t want it to look too defined and desi. So I took a wet Q-tip and put it on the inner corner of the eye, asked Diana to shut them and pulled it outwards in one easy swipe to take off the harshness,” says Fernandez.
So the next time you need a soft, romantic look for date night, skip the harsh eyeshadow and befriend your trusty kajal.
