Too clumsy for the new cat-eye? We break it down into a simple three-step tutorial

  • Too clumsy for the graphic cat-eye? Get with the runway trend by following our simple step-by-step tutorials.

Step 1: Start by tracing a thin line across your upper lash line with a sharpened water-proof eye pencil.

Step 2: Draw a second line outward from the centre of the crease of your lid.

Step 3: Connect the two lines with a horizontal 'V' shape and then draw a straight line on the outside. Start filling in the square cat-eye with the pencil and use an eyeshadow brush to smudge the inner-side. Finish off the look with two coats of black mascara.

  • Step 1: Line your upper lid with a blue liquid liner.

Step 2: Draw a line from the corner of your eye and stop in line with the end of your eyebrow. Connect that with the bottom of your lash line with a 'V' as in the picture.

Step 3: Once dry, use a shimmer pigment and dab it on the eyeliner with a thin brush. Brush of any excess and voila!
