Get the look: Priyanka Chopra’s favourite lip colours
by Hasina Khatib
We don’t actually believe in time travel, but Priyanka Chopra’s superhuman schedule is making us question what we know. In between shooting for her primetime show Quantico, Priyanka is chatting up talk show hosts, taking in the action at New York Fashion Week and breaking the internet with her red carpet appearances. Thankfully for us, her make-up artist Stephanie Brooke Barnes is spilling the secrets behind those gorgeous lip colours. As our Good Samaritan deed for the day, we're sharing them with you.
For her winning debut on the Oscars 2016 red carpet, Priyanka chose a rich berry pout. Need to try this one yourself? Start by swiping on Laura Mercier’s Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Seduction, then finish off with Mercier's Cocoa Pout to add a chocolatey brown sheen.

She also attempted an updated nude lip, settling on Kylie Lip Kit in Moon from Kylie Jenner’s latest lipstick collection.
Advice straight from Priyanka's make-up artist: Start with Lime Crime’s Velvetine lipstick in Fetish. Dab on a layer of Dose of Colors’ Liquid Lipstick in Berry Me 2 right to the centre of your mouth. Line the edges with the NARS Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu, and you are ready for whatever the day brings.
Remember the time Priyanka did full justice to her Carolina Herrera denim trench dress with goth lips? Get your own with the Makeup Forever Liquid Lipstick in Aqua Rouge 13 mixed with the Bobbi Brown Shimmering Lip Gloss in Plum Gold.
Coral is one shade that works like magic on Indian skin. Priyanka inspired envy with her subtle look at the ACE Awards 2016 with a little help from the Temptu Color True Lipstick in Coral Blaze and Clinique Poppy Pop Lip Colour.
Priyanka's pink coral lips at the People's Choice Awards were almost as talked about as her 'Favourite Dramatic TV Actress' win. The make-up artist responsible for this look, Pati DuBroff, told E! News that she wanted her look to be about warmth, softness and a pop of lip without being too much of a statement lip. She used Laura Mercier Velour Lip Colour in Fantasy for the look.
Pro tip: DuBroff used the 'push and smush' trick for this. Instead of lining the lips with pencil or brush, she used her fingers to push in the colour and then smush it around to create sheer layers.
