We’re loving the kimono jackets at Rara Avis

Rara Avis by Sonal Verma is unabashedly urban. Paillette sequinned hemlines, grommet-punctuated skirts and oversized ruffles used to exaggerate movement… this is a collection that’s yearning to be taken to the streets and set upon by style bloggers. There’s also red cold-shoulder dress in there that will become the darling of editorial fashion shoots, or find its way to insta-fame as the subject of multiple boomerangs. This being a winter-festive collection, the designer professed a certain love for the kimono jacket as a weather-appropriate cover-up: showcasing a medley in mosaic prints, textured fabrics and a full blitz of sequins as worn by Sonal Chauhan.
