A recent trip to Japan had Shivan and Narresh dwelling on renowned Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki's artworks — from the women to the flowers, each image left a deep imprint on the duo. And that's what birthed their SS18 collection.
Infused with botanical, animal and bird prints with a hint of fruits, each ensemble is what you would imagine yourself wearing to a destination (or a beach) wedding. Lehengas, jumpsuits, dresses, skirt and blouse sets, bikinis in light-weight velvet, silk and crepe jersey were transformed into festive ensembles through the intricate surface technique of skein work (with each garment taking 150-500 man hours to produce). Talk about luxury dressing.
This collection also saw the duo introduce their accessory line of bags and shoes. Well, if our mules match our beach tote, we're not complaining one bit.
