We’re happy Sonam Kapoor's wedding went off so smoothly, really, but we kind of wanted it never to end. It had everything we wanted. The last time a wedding had that was in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kajol was marrying Salman, Shah Rukh Khan came to stop them and Rani was a ghost. But with all our favourite celebrities slowly getting married, we’re not sure who’s left to deny all the relationship rumours. That is we weren’t sure…. until this happened:
No, we’re not implying that they’re dating. Not even a little. But they did show up together. Why do we care? Because that means he didn’t show up with Alia Bhatt. Alia Bhatt, however, did show up with:
That’s Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Yup, we get it they are co-stars, but so were Alia and Sid and we all know how that ended. We actually don’t know how that ended, or why that ended, but it ended and then this happened.
Also, Raazi is a more recent release and you don’t see Vicky Kaushal and Alia cozying up on any red carpets. Let’s not forget her Gully Boys co-star Ranveer was also at the function sans Deepika, who was not in town, so sister had options. Not convinced? Check this out:
Yes, we know it’s Varun Dhawan and he has no direct link to this. Or does he? That’s Varun Dhawan with his girlfriend, Natasha Dalal. He could have showed up with the co-star for his next film, Katrina Kaif, but he chose to show up for the private wedding function of Sonam and Anand with his date.
Katrina Kaif showed up with her sister. SO? Everyone knows she and Ranbir broke up a while ago. EXACTLY. Everyone knows including Katrina’s current/former BFF Alia Bhatt. Whom we haven’t seen a picture with in a while. Let’s recap that timeline. Katrina breaks up with Ranbir. Alia ends things with Sid. We start seeing Alia and Ranbir all over the place together but Katrina and Alia nowhere. We also start seeing videos of Katrina and Sid working out, but they’re friends, not showing up at wedding functions together.
We could be completely delusional but it was Alia, herself, who planted the thought in our heads. Back when she went on Koffee with Karan to say "I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir. You (Karan Johar) called him up when Rockstar just released and you said, 'Here, talk to Ranbir. Tell him how much you love him'. And I spoke so much rubbish. I was just talking non-stop, and he was like, 'Yeah, that's very nice, Alia.’ Obviously, I have hung out with him after that, and I still think he is really adorable. And I still want to marry him."
It’s all right there.
