Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta tied the knot last night in Mumbai, with Bollywood celebrities and political bigwigs in attendance. The lavish decor set the mood for the proceedings at the wedding of the year. The wedding venue was done up with larger-than-life installations, and floral arrangements. The dominant colour palate was pink, purple, white and coral.
One of the highlights was a massive Lord Krishna statue, created entirely out of foliage, set against a massive conch shell made up of pink flowers. Another talking point was a large, flowery peacock (which fanned out its plumage), in the middle of a floral rangoli. The venue also featured a large fountain and several waterfalls, lending a touch of serenity.
