How Priyanka Chopra reacts to being called a sex symbol

"Being objectified is part of my job"

All eyes are on Priyanka Chopra as she stars in the movie reprisal of one of the most well-known television shows around the world, Baywatch. Not only does the star cast include Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, but Priyanka is also playing a baddie, an "ostentatious boss bitch on the beach", as she puts it.

But landing this gig came with its own set of baggage, given the over-the-top sexiness that the show was known for (and by the looks of it, is all set to recreate). In a recent interview, Priyanka reacted to the potential objectification, saying, "Yes, being objectified is part of my job. I don’t get offended by being called a sex symbol, because I’m an actress and it’s the nature of what I do. But I don't think being a sex symbol is something you want to aim for. Of course you want to be hot, but that’s not all you want to stand for."

Well, there you go.
