This month-long gin festival is the perfect cure for summer

Did we hear gin popsicles?

If you are a regular on Mumbai’s bar scene, you may have noticed that gin is enjoying a definite stardom that was earlier reserved for craft beer and whiskey. Gin is fast becoming the preferred spirit of choice among millennials. Why, you ask? It’s super easy on the throat, pairs well with different flavours and is the perfect fit for weight watchers.

Don’t believe us yet? We’ve found the best way to get you started on some gin appreciation this summer. Head to Gincident, Toast & Tonic’s month-long G&T festival to indulge in some of the best international and Indian gin, along with innovative gin popsicles (think flavours like pineapple and cranberry) and a perfectly paired menu to bring out the beauty of various botanicals.

Still not sold? Pick the smooth and sexy Monkey 47 gin and let it to transport you to the Great Gatsby era. Or opt for our very own Stranger & Sons with a lemon-flavored tonic water and let it take you to the sunny beaches of Goa. And if all the alcohol makes you a bit light-headed, pick dishes like juniper-cured salmon on sourdough toast, seared pork belly with pomelo glaze (our pick) and the leek and mushroom croquettes with lemon peel aioli to go with your drinks.
