We’ve seen a wave of see-through bags (and shoes) hit the runway, with the likes of Chanel and Céline making plastic and PVC fashionable. Quite recently, Off-White’s Virgil Abloh joined forces with premium luggage manufacturers Rimowa to create a transparent suitcase. And though we understand that the fashion industry’s practices need to be made more transparent, is this how designers are showing their support?
For Off-White’s Paris Fashion Week show, the brand showcased the transparent suitcase as a backpack… because, why not?
Looks like the brand has clearly taken it for granted that we’re all up for showing what we’ve stashed in our bag. That’s right. What if we’re smuggling around some stash?
