Whatever the ransom, we’ll pay it. That’s right, not fine, ransom. Summer’s biggest perpetrator is taking celebrities hostage and it’s painful to watch. Shraddha, Disha and dare we say it, even Kareena, have been victims and honestly, we just want our favourite celebrities back.
That’s right, fashion is being terrorized by the flip-flop. Oh! We’re over-reacting are we? Pretty sure your butt vividly remembers the damaging effects of being whacked by a chappal.
But that was then and this is now and there is absolutely no cause to surrender a perfectly good outfit to the effects of a chappal. Your summer dress has learned its lesson now please, put on a pair of gladiators and no one gets hurt. Least of all us.
Or is it the other way around? Is the chappal wearing you, Shraddha? Blink twice if you need an emergency pump.
Louboutin, not asthma.
The flip-flop thrives in the heat, so it likes to catch its victims at their least hydrated. These poor women don’t even know they’re being attacked. Despite Kareena’s best attempts to stay hydrated, she wasn’t able to fight of the offender.
Here, she is basically starting a movement:

At first glance, you may think Jahnvi Kapoor is innocently taking her pet pink rabbit for a walk, but on closer inspection, it is, in fact, the rabbit which has taken Jahnvi for a walk. Wait. That isn’t a rabbit, it’s her flip-flops, flipping you off.
Jahnvi is clearly in pain from having to look at her own feet, but the furry slippers are relentless, dragging her by the feet through the streets. They aren’t even summer friendly, the poor child.

But the Kapoor sisters aren’t the only family effected. Kareena’s slippers seem to have paved the way for an attack on her step-daughter’s feet. Poor Sarah Ali Khan.

In what seems to be an act of surrender, Karisma compromised on her generally fashionable dress sense, by going casual. You can see her making a sign of peace, offering the sliders the opportunity to be chic but still holding her ground with her sunglasses. Shraddha could definitely learn some self-defence from her.
Time and time again, Shraddha has succumbed to her flip-flops. This outfit being the latest casualty.
A perfectly decent dress. Summer prints, a fringed bag. Fashionably minding its own innocence.
