Fashion’s favourite mad scientist, Alessandro Michele, just announced the launch of Gucci’s first virtuality reality film. Called ‘Soul Scene’, the film features the coolest dance party you’ve never been to, an extension of the theme of their Pre-fall ’17 campaign.
Directed by Glen Luchford with art direction by Chris Simmonds, the film opens with dancers queuing up to buy tickets, dressed in the riot of colour that is the Michele’s Pre-Fall collection. Things get hot and sweaty as the party kicks off, rife with the ’70s nostalgia that the designer is now synonymous with.
The film can be viewed in a 360° format on desktop, or viewed on mobile as VR. You can access the film through Gucci’s website or app.
