Pantsuits are quickly proving to be the flavour of the season, which Anushka Sharma recently donning a flame-red version for a red carpet outing with Virat Kohli. Malaika Arora Khan wore a sexy black version — shirtless, as only she can — for the opening of a new restaurant in Mumbai. And now Mira Kapoor has thrown her hat into the ring with the most surprising version we’ve seen yet.
Mira stepped out for a recent red carpet event in what can only be described as a sharara-pantsuit hybrid. The black two-piece suddenly veered off its otherwise sombre path, with the pant leg flaring out into a full-blown sharara silhouette in black and white sequinned fabric. Her stylist Anisha Jain paired an Ashish Soni blazer with pants from 431-88 by Shweta Kapur. Nirav Modi diamond earrings and matching rings completed Mira’s look, though we have to say we can’t really look past those pants.
