8 ways you can add pink to your wardrobe this summer

Flamingo-haired model-of-the-moment Fernanda Ly stole the show at Louis Vuitton, confirming that pink can be feminine, yes, but also so much fun. Think of the sugared almond version at Céline or Preen’s dusty rose dresses, to the bubblegum shade at Balenciaga. Michael Kors dressed the trend in bright tones on easy summer separates, while Bottega played it risqué with its glossy, hot-pink trench and Kenzo went for fuchsia patent outerwear.

The torchbearer, however, was Valentino’s draped midi dress in shocking pink, which exhorts you to replace your LBD with an LPD this summer. Back home, Monisha Jaising embraced the hue in a striking fuchsia palette, while Gauri & Nainika’s ruffled gown paired with a leather harness has become a red carpet sensation. The only way to wear pink this season? Drenched in it, and without apology.
