The pinkie ring jewellery trend is taking over the internet

Bella Hadid—pioneering fashion trendsetter that she is—has her manicured fingers on the pulse of several of the season’s biggest and coolest trends. The much-anticipated return of the ugly sneaker, the ’90s-perfect elongated sunglasses shape, and the cool-girl nonchalance of the single pinkie ring being three excellent examples.

Of course, Hadid’s idea of the ideal pinkie ring is a massive heart-shaped diamond that would likely put us into crushing debt for the foreseeable future, but her irreverent styling—the pinkie ring being worn completely on its own—is the kind of spring-simple ease that we’ve been chasing.

A far cry from the look-at-me cocktail ring, and more on the understated side than the handful of mismatched, stackable rings that we’ve been rocking, the lone pinkie ring is this season’s most clear-cut pathway to blasé sophistication and beyond.

Here, five to shop.
