Rihanna could soon be launching a lingerie label

The musician has signed a deal with a little known fashion retailer

Rihanna has fuelled speculation that she's poised to launch a lingerie line, after it emerged that she has signed a deal with TechStyle.

WWD reports that the star has been working with fashion group TechStyle — which counts Fabletics and Shoedazzle among its brands — for a year and a half on the lingerie launch. Samples are also said to have been produced, although a firm launch date has not been revealed.

Both Fabletics and Shoedazzle are linked to celebrities — the former with Kate Hudson and the latter with Kim Kardashian — so a pairing with Rihanna is not improbable.

A lingerie launch will only add to Rihanna's growing retail empire. Last September, she launched her make-up label Fenty Beauty, which has proved by critically and commercially successful. She also has her fashion line, Fenty Puma, which has previously shown during Paris Fashion Week and has been in operation since 2016.
