Priyanka Chopra is empowering Indian women to make the first move

Just over a year ago, I sat next to Priyanka Chopra at a dinner. After I shared Bumble’s vision with her—to empower women to make the first move in all areas of their lives, and to help put an end to misogyny—she grabbed my hand. “We have to take this to India,” she said. “The women there need it.” This fall, as Bumble enters India, we’re doing so with Priyanka on board as an investor, trusted advisor, and ally. When she commits to something, whether in the arts, philanthropy, or the business world, she’s in all the way. I’m grateful Bumble is part of her portfolio and couldn’t have chosen a better partner for this exciting new market.
