ELLE Guest Digital Editor, Dia Mirza’s favourite sustainable fashion labels

Actor, producer and UN Environment’s Goodwill Ambassador for India, Dia Mirza has also previously worked with Sanctuary Asia and Wildlife Trust of India to highlight the global environmental crisis and push for a greener, cleaner Earth. Mirza believes that the key to making a big change is to implement small, simple changes in your everyday life by choosing sustainable alternatives⁠—from what you eat to what you wear.

So, we asked Mirza to tell us a little bit about her favourite Indian sustainable fashion labels and their eco-conscious and ethically-made collections. Here’s what she said: 

1. Anavila

Anavila translates to ‘pure’ in Sanskrit and, as the name suggests, the brand is about pure, sustainable, luxurious textiles.
