So when we catch wind of the trends that are catching the fancy of French girls, we are taking detailed notes and making immediate moves to change up our look.
The latest beauty trend to take their fancy? According to Pinterest, the Parisiennes are now obsessed with earth-toned eye makeup. Just in the last year, there has been an 85 per cent increase in saves for “brown eye makeup“ in France, and this is music to our ears.
Keeping their low maintenance approach to beauty in mind, we’re guessing they’re not pinning pictures of heavy, detailed smoky eyes. Instead, we imagine the French girl take on brown eye makeup to be a little more haphazard in its application.
Think soft, smudged swipes of brown liner on their lash lines, or a soft wash of a bronze-coloured shadow across their lids.
