Parineeti Chopra talks food
by Sneha Sadarangani
Parineeti Chopra’s latest role for Daawat-E-Ishq isn’t for nibblers. “These days, [it’s] rare [to find movies] where the heroine goes all out and indulges herself. [The film] offers a unique combination of food and romance – it’s about how food can bring people closer.” The actress, who is also currently taking the cause of #Touchthepickle further through social media, tells us about her food obsessions.
The incurable foodie
“My love for food is definitely one of the major reasons [why I chose this role], and since I am an absolute foodie, I didn’t need any preparation.”
“Maggi is the one dish that always brings back childhood memories.”
“Mangii Fera and Indigo are my two favourite restaurants in Mumbai.”
She carries a dabba to work
“I’m still in the process of learning how to cook. But since I am living away from home, I do make it a point to cook my dabba and take it to the set.”
The only way to indulge
“I don’t restrict myself at all. I allow myself everything, everyday.”
Daawat-E-Ishq releases on September 19.
