Sushi lovers can head to the live sushi counter to watch the chefs work right in front of you! Try the chef’s selection of Kunafa-wrapped prawns, the signature Kyma Cherry Wood Smoke Cream Cheese Hummus (with a caramel pistachio) and the four Cheese & Zatar Pide from the Mediterranean cuisine. And end your meal on a sweet note with the Classic Baklava or the Lemongrass Crème Brûlée. Sounds yum, right?

The name means ‘beloved’ in Spanish. Head to Ammata if the term ‘experimental foodie’ describes you the best. Serving a fusion of European and Indian, some of the innovative offerings include Sriracha hummus kulcha hors d’oeuvre in an open taco form, the Haleem Boreks (a 12-hour slow cooked Hyderabadi lamb with broken wheat and lentils, spiced with rose, cinnamon, and cloves in a dumpling with vegetable charcoal aioli and pickled radish), and the Ashtray dessert (featuring edible cigarettes packed with chocolate ganache and hidden beneath a Bailey Pannacota bed of Oreo cookie crumble topped with silver dust)–this one has us going in for seconds.

5. B Cuisines & Cocktail (Mumbai)

Here’s a place that promises a major throwback to the ’90s lounge culture. B Cuisines & Cocktails is defined by its music spanning easy ‘90s rock to new-age African beats and old school hip hop–we’re ready to get in the groove! There are multiple offerings from the drinks menu but you must try the cocktails such as the gin-based Wrong Turn or whiskey-based Cari Fumo Secco. Pair them with small plates like Ghee Roast Chicken/Paneer served as a Khari Bruschetta or Lamb Seekh/Hara Bhara Kababs on soft-shell Thepla Tacos, and you’re good to go. No bar is complete without a great selfie spot, and our favourite is the artsy frame showcasing Van Gogh and Frieda Kahlo raising a toast. We think it makes for a great Insta snap.
