Rihanna and Kylie aren’t the only OGs in the celeb beauty sphere anymore. But new players are stepping in and upping the beauty standards much to our delight. As the mantra goes, – the more beauty to explore, the better. Even though it seems like every actress/singer/model has their line of makeup and skincare, these are the brands that are definitely worth the bills and hype. Don’t worry we’ve saved you from all the celebrity foundation fatigue on the grid with our curation right here!

1. ANOMALY Haircare by Priyanka Chopra Jonas

PCJ has intentionally created unconventional haircare. Count on the actress to deliver a beauty brand that deviates from the norm. Recently unveiled on 31st January, Anomaly is a range of hair shampoos and conditioners for specific hair types. PCJ has made sure everyone knows that the brand is sustainable and environmentally conscious with clean formulas. Want proof? The packaging is made with 100% plastic trash and the concoctions are sans mineral oil. Priyanka wrote on Instagram, “I created #Anomalyhaircare because you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you or the planet”. YAS, Queen!

2. About-Face By Halsey

If I could describe the New Jersey-based singer’s fresh beauty line, I would pick one word – bold. Think rock blended with a chic diva. Breaking into the beauty market with her range of ten products ranging from lipsticks, eyeshadows and highlighting liquid amongst others Halsey’s range has a pop of colour with a 90s vibe. Oh, and just in case you were second-guessing, Halsey is the creative head and the makeup artist of About-Face.

3. JLo Beauty By Jennifer Lopez

Picture JLo. Enough Said. But seriously, who doesn’t want a makeup line that lets you GLOW inside and out with a line-up of moisturizers, multitasking masks, serum, eye cream and more packed in aesthetically pleasing rose gold hues?! Inspired by the queen’s ideology of “beauty has no expiration date” JLo concocted luxuriously accessible skincare with her infamous initials, and I am grateful. Going RN to become a #GlowGetter.

4. Rare Beauty By Selena Gomez

To shatter the unrealistic expectations of stereotypically “perfect” beauty Selena curated Rare, a brand that is enthusiastic about mental health across all genders, sexual orientation, race or even perspectives. Positively romanticizing imperfection never looked more subtle with lipsticks, foundations, concealers, balms, eyeshadows – basically the whole package. Reimagining self-love in an era of online bullying Selena’s brainchild isn’t just woke it’s raw, real and more.

5. Kay Beauty By Katrina Kaif

When Katrina creates a beauty line we invest. Why? Because no one understands the effects of having makeup on 24/7 during international movies or advertisement shoots better. For the women who are always on the go her range of comfortable formulations includes matte lipsticks, highlighters, blush, nail enamels, kajal, brow pencils, mascaras (I can go on…) all wrapped in minimal packing with a K monogram. With a base of chamomile and marula oil Kay’s Lip Crayons are calling me. I must go because its #KayToBeYou.

 6. Honest Beauty By Jessica Alba

Honest isn’t just a life skill for Jessica – it’s a wellness lifestyle. An assortment of masks, serums, hydrating creams and cleansers Honest Beauty is the cruelty-free, organic and ethical home of all things you can use to self-pamper. Finally, we have some #Clean BeautyThatWorks from me to me. Thanks, Jess.

7. Brown Skin Beauty By Anusha Dandekar

Anusha’s beauty and skincare line aren’t just vegan, cruelty- and paraben-free, it also donates 5% profits to underprivileged women. Hallelujah for committing to brown skin (we need more care) and making a difference in the cut-throat beauty industry. With prime focus on brown skin products like Aloe Face Cream, depigment the skin alongside wondrous facial workers aka shea butter, vitamin C and argan oil. I know where I am getting my fix of aloe now.

8. Florence By Mills By Millie Bobby Brown

Clean and inclusive beauty anyone? Millie asked us, and we added ALL to the cart. After chair hopping for various makeup artists during work Mills says, and we agree, – beauty is about loving and expressing yourself. Rather than fitting into shade cards Mill’s collection of skincare and makeup lets you play around with numerous products without breaking the bank. As if this hadn’t convinced me Mills named her brand after her great-grandma Florence who embraced herself happily. BRB crying.

9. Star Struck By Sunny Leone

#StarStruckbySL is a nail and cosmetics range of products certified by PETA. Clearly Sunny doesn’t take beauty lightly. Matte lip shades are highly pigmented hues of pink, purple and nudes are lusciously smooth on application and complement the vast colour card of gel nail enamels. So when are you getting stuck?

10. Haus Laboratories By Lady Gaga

“Sometimes beauty doesn’t come from within” – Lady Gaga thought as she instrumentalized a makeup line to do it for her (because she could, period). A broad spectrum of lips, eyes and cheek formulas allows you to transform yourself repeatedly with a collection that screams bold meets punk. So, upside? You’re never bored of transforming into an avant-garde look and like Gaga says that’s not weird you were Born This Way.

11. Arias By Lara Dutta Bhupathi

Lara has a new side hustle. Venturing into the beauty industry and replacing our skincare routine with a 3 in 1 scrub, mask and cleanser. Arias products know how to utilize sublime ingredients for healthy and breathable skin that won’t eat up your monthly bills.

12. Fenty Beauty By Rihanna

Before BadGalRiRi was the queen we all know, she was a daughter transfixed by her mother’s lipstick. Today she is the creator of the OG of all beauty brands Fenty Beauty for all skin types and tones after noticing their deficit. With the game-changer Pro Filt’R Soft Matte Powder foundation, her collection has everything from cleansers to concealers. Going beyond gender barriers, RiRi’s Instagram ensures makeup only sees skin, nothing else. Guess we can all stand under RiRi’s beauty umbrella now.

13. Kora Organics By Miranda Kerr

If an international model and mother prioritize healthy skincare, I know I should too. Miranda’s curation of its namesake organic products emphasizes natural healing via oils, masks and exfoliants. Kora ensures you soak in ingredients like noni extract, rosehip oil and sea buckthorn oil as bases that revitalize your skin while boosting your confidence. Being a pioneer of the ‘clean beauty’ movement, I don’t mind if I am late to the party, but I’ll grab some of those sun-kissed body oils, thanks. (Maybe all!)

14. Kylie Cosmetics By Kylie Jenner

Repeat after me Kylie is the queen of Lip Kits. The beauty mogul’s cosmetics empire led her to be crowned in Forbes’s controversial self-made billionaire status. There’s only one thing to be said – her seasonal/holiday collections are not just relatable packaging, but they deliver a whole parade of shades in eyeshadows, foundations, highlighters and lipsticks (of course) which is all and more we are ecstatic about. With her expansion into Kylie Skin, she just might be the queen of bubble baths too, I guess.
