With leading international and domestic brands on board and exciting offers Myntra has been the go-to shopping destination for many for all things fashion and beauty. When it comes to marketing its products on its social platforms, it always has a fun and compelling way to do it with the help of leafing content creators who have drawn the audience even more towards the brand. The platform has given influencers a space to build their own communities. Moreover, the influencer community, especially Myntra’s Style Squad has helped the brand’s social commerce grow exponentially. And it is because of this long standing commitment to influencers that Myntra hosted its first ever Creator Fest–an event celebrating and recognising India’s popular and much-loved content creators in the space of fashion and beauty.
Myntra is the first e-commerce platform to throw the biggest on-ground event with over 200 Indian influencers under one roof. The event also unveiled the much-awaited EORS (End of Reason Sale) giving us a sneak peek into Myntra’s 17th edition of the flagship fashion carnival that is slated to begin on December 10.
Being the first edition, the Myntra Creator Fest went all out with engaging conversations, exciting collaborations and fun activities with the country’s biggest influencers and OTT stars gracing their presence. Here’s all that went down at the event.
Engaging Panel Discussions
We got to witness an insightful panel discussion with content creators Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Sushant Divgikr, Ankush Bahuguna and Komal Pandey. They shed light on their journeys in the creator space, live commerce being at the forefront of the creator economy and how Myntra is harnessing its power to enable the creator ecosystem to thrive.
The Surprise Reveal
The Creator Fest got even better with the announcement that the global fashion powerhouse Boohoo Group is now on Myntra. The leading ladies of the OTT series, ‘Four More Shots Please!’–Bani J, Kirti Kulhari, Maanvi Gagroo– came to unveil the launch. As a part of EORS-17, you can now get access to the Boohoo Group’s uber cool and trendy brands like Boohoo, Nasty Gal, and Dorothy Perkins, only on Myntra.
Engagement zones
No event is complete without interactive photo booths to capture the best moments and share them on social media. And the Myntra Creator fest had super-interesting fashion and beauty experience zones and styling corners from sought-after brands such as Boohoo, Lakme, Maybelline, Roadster and Mango for creators to create and share content live from the event. Whether you wanted to dance around as the rotating camera caught every move at the Roadster booth or pose by the subway train station booth created by Mango, there were lots of spots (with great lighting of course) for creators to get the perfect shot for their Instagram. There was also a fun game where you could get a chance to win free beauty or fashion products from Myntra.
A Networking Ground
One of the many aspects that makes Myntra a hit among influencers is its unwavering support for creators irrespective of the number of followers they have. And that’s why the event also had exciting meet-and-greet sessions that allowed influencers to network among peers and exchange ideas and concepts.
We also thought the ‘Creator Pass’ introduced during Myntra’s BFF earlier this year was a remarkable initiative which will be extended to budding content creators with more than 2,000 followers on any social media platform to avail added benefits during EORS-17.
A Musical End
The event ended with a bang as artist Ritviz made an appearance, captivating the audience with his catchy tunes and getting everyone to groove, even if you had two left feet!
The Myntra Creator Fest served as a space for bringing all content creators together and giving them the opportunity to network and grow together. All in all, it was definitely an event where creators were celebrated front and center.
