shows

We spent our weekend binging on light-hearted and entertaining films like Love Hard and Red Notice. We’re now in the mood for some action thriller, sci-fi adventures and reality show drama. On the same page? Great! Here are the shows on our roster to take us till the end of November. Thank us later.

1. Selling Sunset Season 4, Netflix

Realtors indulging in unscripted high drama on camera are back! Focusing on the lives of agents at The Oppenheim Group in LA, US, the series invites us into a ‘behind-the-scenes’ world of real estate, and the relationships among colleagues. In the upcoming season, expect nothing short of fabulous houses, breathtaking locations, new agents and, of course, more drama–that’s what we all want, right?

Releasing on November 24

2. Tiger King Season 2, Netflix

Murder, mayhem and madness continues in the second instalment of one of Netflix’s popular docu-series. The show picks up from where it ended–we’ll hear from Joe Exotic, but from prison. And of course, new revelations on the motivations, backstories and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners unfold.

Releasing on November 17

3. Hawkeye, Disney+ Hotstar

With Marvel releasing shows on each character from the MCU, this is the next series in line. Clint Barton aka Hawkeye never had a solo movie or show until now. His character was first introduced in Thor (2011). The upcoming show starring Jeremy Reiner follows the life of Agent Barton post-blip in New York City with his family. When he stumbles upon a threat from his past, he teams up with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld–the new addition to the MCU), a 22-year-old skilled archer and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy. All he wants to do is get back home in time for Christmas. Following Loki, this one is high up on our watchlist.

Releasing on November 24

4. Special Ops 1.2: The Himmat Story, Disney+ Hotstar

Looking for a no-nonsense action thriller minus cars flying around? Then this one’s for you—a 3-part part series featuring Kay Kay Menon who has received critical appreciation for his stellar performance. The espionage story of Special Ops season 1 continues in the reverse order, and narrates the story of how Himmat Singh (Menon) becomes a spy.

Released on November 12

5. The Wheel Of Time, Amazon Prime Video

This sci-fi adventure show is based on best-selling novels by Robert Jordan. The multi-worlds-spanning fantasy saga stars Rosamund Pike as Moraine, a member of an all-female organisation who use magic. She takes a group of five young people on a dangerous journey around the world, believing one of them to be the reincarnation of the Dragon Reborn (a powerful individual prophesied to either save the humanity or destroy it). Great VFX coupled with a interesting plot line–now this is binge-worthy!

Releasing on November 19

6. Jonas Brothers Family Roast, Netflix

Ever thought the Jonas Brothers would produce a show that roasts them? We didn’t either! But now that they have, we’re ready to grab some popcorn and watch them get #Roasted. The one-hour comedy special is hosted by Kenan Thompson and features guest appearances by Pete Davidson, Niall Horan, Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias, John Legend, Lilly Singh, Jack Whitehall and more—all who take part in mocking the three brothers.
