Actor Deepika Padukone just launched her fashion label in association with Myntra, called All About You. She describes the line as “comfortable, romantic, feminine and fun,” the operative word being comfortable. “I think all about you is all about you – there’s no better way to say that! It’s to encourage girls to dress the way I have over the years, which is to be comfortable in what you wear, and showcase your personal style,” says Padukone.
It took the actor nine months to design the line in collaboration with French design agency Carlin and Myntra’s in-house design team. It employs satin, viscose and jacquards, lurex knits, blended knits, woollens and denims. It appears there’s something for everyone too – floral and feather prints, dots and stripes, lace and sequins.
