Art enthusiasts, rejoice — this Independence Day, Sofitel Mumbai BKC is showcasing a stunning art exhibition in association with The Asian Art House, titled Colours of Independence. Whether you’re a fan of contemporary or traditional Indian art, the exhibition’s wide range of artworks showcasing India’s rich and vibrant culture will appeal to all.
While artist Amit Bhar’s creations bring life to the Benaras ghats, Manoj Das’ fluent brushstrokes will transport you to a different world.
But art and culture isn’t the only aspect India is known for — its delectable dishes are famous worldwide. On the occasion of India’s 71st year of independence, Sofitel Mumbai BKC pays tribute to India’s rich cuisines through a culinary trail that ranges across all the Indian regions at the hotel’s all-day dining Pondichéry Café.
On from 11th to 14th August, discover the flavours of the North, South, East and West regions with dishes like Chettinad Urlai Roast, Maharashtrian Missal Pav, Delhi’s Hing Wale Aloo, Kashmiri Anjir ke Kofte along with delightful desserts like Balushahi and Jalebi with Rabdi.
The art exhibition is on until August 15 at the art gallery in Sofitel Mumbai BKC, C-57, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai.
