Good Earth launched its Silk Route-inspired collection, ‘Samarqand’, with ELLE over many cocktails and a lazy brunch (just what a Saturday demands). The new collection features home accessories and fabrics in madder rose and azure hues – we particularly loved their metal lanterns and bright ikats made by artisans in Uzbekistan. Some of the more creative guests were spotted trying their hand at block printing scarves and table runners. And all this was neatly accompanied by a delicious spread: tuna samosas, lamb kibbeh, falafel, baklava and that melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake.
