Every year the much-awaited ELLE Carnival For A Cause gives us a good reason to shop. You can always expect a host of labels for a steal. Best part? Proceeds go towards the Tata Memorial Center, towards helping patients diagnosed with breast cancer. Delhi’s Taj Mahal Hotel was the perfect place for a relaxed nautical-themed sundowner, where you could nibble on everything from tapas to regional treats from Kerala and Bengal. We knocked back our Peronis and nursed our Grover Zampa aperitifs too.
The highlight? You could bid and get your hands on Sonam Kapoor’s Dolce & Gabbana bag for a fraction! Plus, you could snap up accessories from labels like Chanel, Hermès, Gucci, Tod’s for a bargain. Designers Anamika Khanna, Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal and Tarun Tahiliani shared statement pieces from their latest collections too. Between all that shopping you could have your tarot cards read by Preeti and Rima Comar. And of course Bismarc & Bizzy Bee covered chart toppers well into the evening. Would we do it all over again?
