What do Arianna Grande, Bhumi Pednekar, and all of us have in common? It’s a love for wearing ponytails. This trusty hairstyle is a go-to, whether you’re five, 15, or 35. The only issue? The damned thing doesn’t look half as glamorous as you thought it would. After all, not all of us have the luxury of an entourage (and more) to hold it all together. Fortunately for us, an entourage isn’t the only thing that can help; here are four tricks that’ll help you give your classic pony all the support it needs.
HACK 1: Fake it!

Stack two or three ponytails on top of each other to give the illusion of a fuller, thicker, and longer tail.
HACK 2: Clip it

Tie your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with a hair-tie. Further divide the pony into two, and add a small clip between the sections. This will volumise it even further.
HACK 3: Pin it

Once you’ve tied your hair into a tight ponytail, simply add bobby pins at the bottom of it to push the hair up. This will give your ponytail a lot more height.
HACK 4: Tease it

Before you pull your hair back into a ponytail, ensure that you teas it especially around the crown. This trick basically lifts the hair from the roots, giving a fuller and more volumised effect.
