Skincare can be confusing. It can be a lot of effort and discipline. It can be expensive. But, skincare can also be the best thing you’ll ever do for yourself. Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand not being able to follow elaborate routines or paying attention to all the myriad ingredients you should be using, but that’s not how the experience has to be.
Skincare has always been and should be about looking after yourself and doing something nice for yourself. So, it is beyond alright if you don’t want to follow a multiple step routine. There is beauty in simplicity and off late, I’ve been thinking our mums and grandmums were really onto something when they would religiously use just that one night cream that did everything for them.
Paying homage to that bedtime ritual of the women in our lives, here is a PSA to all my lazy girlies- you do not need to invest in a fancy product lineup or tools to nurture your skin. Read on for some excellent options for when you just want to use one product and streamline your routine. Your skin and mental health will thank you.
