quite an entrance with India’s very own Gucci Boy, and adidas Originals Brand Ambassador, Ranveer Singh himself. To say we’re excited is a major understatement. Not that we needed any reason to insta-stalk Ranveer, but now we’re borderline obsessed with his latest IG posts in which he unveils
his favorite looks from this iconic collection.
The hype is real…
The rumour mill was going on non-stop for months predicting this mega alliance. And much to everyone’s delight, the ‘Exquisite’ Gucci fashion show in Milan held in February this year, confirmed that the hype was indeed real. We got our first real look at the adidas x Gucci show-stopping collection and it was all that anyone could talk about. The exemplary designs were conceived out of Alessandro Michele’s fascination and genuine affinity for adidas. It is evident in the way the brand emblems were recoded with renewed looks and meanings. We are loving how the merging of the two timeless brand logos goes together almost like fraternal twins, 3 stripes being the common factor as seen in the myriads of pieces from this line. The collab boasts scores of vibrant, colourful clothes, footwear, and accessories. You can see a game of contrast between adidas’ white 3 stripes and Gucci’s red and green web being featured in the collection of leisurewear and conventionally formal pieces. adidas trefoil and GG monogram motifs are proudly portrayed in energetic prints, retro-chic and contemporary pieces. From their wide-ranging shirts, pants, and tracksuits to the collection of bags, shoes, and accessories, each item
features a distinctive palette and patterns, borrowed from the heritage of both the brands. And just wait till you see the famous adidas Gazelle sneakers with Gucci’s own take on it, they’re the ultimate fashion statement.

All products in this line are crafted with future- conscious material fabrications including polyester, cotton, and viscose. There are also pieces that are made in part with ECONYL regenerated nylon. For all the woke fashionmongers, this collection might just be a dream come true. adidas and Gucci, as two of the most iconic names in fashion, are creating a new chapter in their legacy with this collaboration. Since its first glimpse in Milan, this new drop has already taken the fashion world by storm, presenting itself as the strongest and most comprehensive high fashion-meets-sportswear collab.
