At the iconic MET Gala in New York, Alia Bhatt wore an Atelier Prabal Gurung ivory silk tulle and satin-face organza exaggerated basque waist ball gown embellished with hand-beaded pearls and scintillating diamond jewellery from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the sixth largest jewellery retailer globally with 310+ showrooms across 10 countries.
In line with the night’s theme, ‘In honour of Karl’, a tribute to the legendary German designer Karl Lagerfeld, Alia, the brand ambassador of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, wore a diamond ring designed by the celebrated jewellery designer Alice Cicolini. Painstakingly handcrafted by master artisans from Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the knuckle duster was created around a 2.21-carat rose-cut solitaire surrounded by tapered, baguette and round diamonds, with a tassel of pearls while the other hand had rings in beautiful uncut diamonds. The artistic brilliance of handcrafted jewellery perfectly complemented Alia’s Met Gala pure white princess gown that had a long train, with every inch of its bodice drenched in pearls.
Be it acting or fashion, Alia has been at the forefront of glamour and talent. After making her acting debut in 2012, Alia has delivered several blockbusters and garnered praise from critics and the public. And to all this, she has added more shine by becoming the brand ambassador of Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
