10 Homegrown Labels That Are Donating Towards Covid Relief

The current unanimous focus of the country is to fight the second wave of Covid-19. Joining the forces in its capacity is the fashion industry by contributing towards the various relief funds. Multiple small and big scale brands have pledged a certain percentage of their profit share towards organisations that are doing the work on ground zero. While retail therapy is on no one’s mind right now, but if you do happen to purchase, do it through brands that are transparently working towards bettering this situation. Every penny you spend, make it count.

Take a look at these ten homegrown labels that are setting an example by doing their best to combat this health crisis.

Label Sui is organising a fundraiser, the proceeds of which will be directed towards aiding India’s covid crisis via platforms like Mission Oxygen, Enrich Lives and Goonj.

For the next thirty days, No Nasties will be donating 25 per cent of every sale to Give India for their efforts towards Covid relief in India to build emergency Covid treatment centres across the country. ⁠

Fifty per cent of New Leaf’s sales will be donated for Covid care to Indian Inspiring Women (IIW). The amount will be used for medical supplies and food drives on the ground; they will also be donating five masks on the purchase of every five masks to the Robin Hood Army, a volunteer-based organisation that works to provide surplus food from restaurants to the less fortunate.

4. Bansri Mehta Design 

Bansri Mehta Design is contributing 100 per cent of the proceeds from the sales of their capsule collection towards relief organisations Khana Chahiye and Goonj.

Sher Bache is donating 100 per cent of proceeds from all their orders (applicable on all their products) to Feeding From Far, a charity that provides food to the needy.

7. Eight Thousand Miles 

Eight Thousand Miles will be contributing all their profits for a month to the Give India charity organisation.

For the next ten days, all the profits from the Kai Studio will be redirected toward charity. The label has collated a list of humanitarian programmes that are helping people, and the buyer gets to select the organisation they want their money to go towards.
