If you have grown up watching Disney on summer afternoons, then this one’s for you. Directed by Don Hahn, Howard is the untold story of Howard Ashman, the brilliant lyricist who gave a voice to the Disney classics like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. The film will be an intimate view at his life with never-seen-before archival footage, personal films and photographs, as well as interviews with Howard’s friends and family.
Chemical Hearts on Amazon Prime Video

John Green meets Rainbow Rowell in this story of first love, broken hearts, and everything that puts young love back together. The movie follows the life of Henry Page (Austin Abrams), a hopeless romantic who has never fallen in love. He lives happily focusing on his studies to make his way to a good college, until Grace Town (Lili Reinhart) enters his class. Statutory warning: This film might be a little sentimental, so keep some tissues handy.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl on Netflix

If you’re in the mood to curl up in your comforter with processed food and do absolutely nothing (not even click) then make this show your BFF this month. With all the seasons on board, all you need to do is watch the intense cat and mouse game between Sandra Oh (or our favourite Dr. Chang from Greys) as an Mi5 officer, who doesn’t like her desk job and her arch-nemesis Villanelle, who enjoys all the perks of the spy life.
Lovecraft Country on Disney + Hotsar

Based on Matt Ruff ‘s novel of the same name, Lovecraft Country follows Atticus Freeman as he meets up with his friends to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This leads to a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America, and more. If you love fiction mixed with a little drama and horror, then this series needs to be next on your watch list.
