In a tantalising example of a fashion show they could never stage in a warm, tropical country like ours, the Salon du Chocolat runway featured dresses good enough to eat. Part of an annual exhibition that travels to cities like London, Brussels, Moscos and Beirut, the collection of sexy eveningwear (or dessert, depending on how hungry you are) was created through a collaboration of upcoming designers and chocolatiers. Besides the fashion show, this year in London there were also star pastry chefs doing demonstrations, a dessert bar hosted by Valrhona and Belle Epoque, a Charlie and The Chocolate Factory-themed corner for kids and what is a chocolate show without tasting rooms.
