Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Rishta by Arjun Saluja
Forget heavy layering woes. Winter’s newest accessory would put Superman’s flow-y cape to shame. Valentino’s vivid retro-print in leather was a standout piece, and Saint Laurent’s Red Riding Hood version was straight out of a fairy tale. While Salvatore Ferragamo went bold with all-over leopard print, Hermès chose to bring luxury normcore to the runway with minimal, camel-tone, throw-overs. Don’t want to loosen the purse strings too much? Try Bebe’s faux fur capelet for a little ’70s style or Zara’s (waterproof) oversized sky blue number. And Indian runways weren’t far behind: Satya Paul’s monochrome creation, a furry piece by Dhruv Kapur and Arjun Saluja’s printed olive green design were our favourites.
