Delhi’s popular haunt, Fio Cookhouse And Bar, recently rejigged their menu. Start your meal with thyme chicken lentil broth – which will have you coming back for seconds – or try the refreshing burrata and melon salad. Nibble on the Firenze cheese platter or the melt-in-your-mouth mutton tikka melba from the bar bites menu. If there’s one cocktail you should nurse all evening, it’s the chia melon martini, made with melon juice, cucumber, vodka and chia seeds. Save room for dessert though. The caramel spiced mango mousse is worth the wait.

The new Mamatiffin express delivery service takes the edge off hurried lunches. Tuck into their set meals, which features options like black bean tiffin, the China town tiffin and the spicy Thai tiffin all come with gyoza and the favourite som tom salad. It’s packed in a bento box-style, they give you the complete, fun, Mamagoto experience. It’s currently available only at their Noida and Gurgaon outlets but we’re it rolls out to all their outlets soon.

The chilled tomato gazpacho, served with brine-compressed green apples and Parmesan olive oil jelly, got us off to a promising start. The menu has fresh salads we’d be happy to skip the mains for! Our favourite? The heart of palm salad, a blend of compressed cucumber heart, charred Peruvian chilies, salsa of dressed puy lentils and pickled corn. The crunchy asparagus served with cauliflower mousse, toasted hazelnuts and fresh sour apple, was another hit. For starters, we decided to dig into a French soufflé served with brined pumpkin shavings, roasted pumpkin and cheese velouté.The Chilean sea bass served with garlic velouté, charred broccoli, and potato fondant will have us coming back for more. From the mains we sampled the wine-glazed Belgium pork belly, plated to Instagram-perfection with mustard-braised baby shallots, pickled mustard seeds, crispy kale and creamy polenta. Love chocolate? Then don’t leave until you’ve had the pave made of 85 per cent Valrhona dark chocolate.
