We know. Asking you to get out of your pyjamas on your day off may sound rude, but on July 12, Café Zoe is bringing together three of the coolest indie labels we know – Runaway Bicycle, Tät and Totally Ripe – for an exhibition called Three’s Company. These brands are the only reasons you’ll need to step out on a rainy day. Don’t believe us? Read on.
Runaway Bicycle recently made it to our Indie labels to know list and is an e-commerce site that retails casual womenswear. Their take on clothing is both minimal and fun. Stock up on their Monday Blues shirt – it’s the perfect buy for the weekend.
Tät, a freshly-minted label (it’s barely a month old) concentrates on weave and weft (read: textile is king) for its menswear line, with shirts that have a raw and humble appeal. Then there’s Totally Ripe, which offers up shirts and bowties in all the colours of the rainbow, to “men who don’t mistake masculinity for morbid monotones!”
To be part of the experience, head to Café Zoe between 10.00am and 5.00pm this Saturday, and discover these hidden gems. Trust us, dressing up and making your way to the café will be worth the trouble.
