The Michelin starred dim sum teahouse is celebrating its fifth anniversary in India, and we are the ones rejoicing. Yauatcha is celebrating this milestone with a special menu, replete with exquisite dim sums, stir fry and desserts so pretty it almost seems like a crime to eat them. Almost. The Sichuan style lobster and Lotus leaf wrapped fried rice with shiitake mushrooms is definitely worth a second visit.

Part of the Massive Restaurants group, this Japanese restaurant completes a year in the city with a completely refurbished menu, out with some of the old and in with a heap of new. Don’t skip on the fiery sushi plate and the salmon charcuterie for starters–they’re like a party in your mouth. The chunking style bummalo tempura (crispy Bombay duck with Chinese spices and potato broth) is probably the best Asian version of the fish in the city. We’d get repeats of the pork belly with quail eggs for mains–super soft meat with flavoursome Sichuan sauce is a winner.
