Thanks to OTT platforms updating their roster every week, we’ve got a fresh and exciting mix till the end of September. From horror comedies to intense romance dramas, here are six movies to keep you occupied through the month.

1. Schumacher, Netflix

This docu traces the journey of the legendary German Formula One racing driver Michael Schumacher. It talks about his rise to fame and of course, his shocking skiing accident of 2013, among other parts of his life. It goes without saying that this documentary is a must-watch for hardcore F1 fans.

We’ve seen many movies creatively delve into and explore ‘love’ in its varying shades. Ankahi Kahaniya also does the same, but offers a unconventional treatment to ‘love’ through three stories. Giving us a peek into the lives of lonely souls in search of companionship, the anthology takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. If you’re up for that ride, it hits the brief!

Here’s an action-packed movie for you starring Akshay Kumar as the lead. The plot? An Indian commercial flight is hijacked by terrorists in the mid-1980s and a government agent (Akshay) is on a mission to save 210 hostages.

4. Jungle Cruise, Disney+ Hotstar

Based on a Disneyland ride, the Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt starrer takes you on an jungle adventure. Dr Lily Houghton (Blunt) seeks help from the wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff (Johnson) to head to the Amazonian forest in his ramshackle boat. Together, they search for an ancient healing tree, a discovery that promises to change the future of medicine.

5. Annabelle Sethupathi, Disney+ Hotstar

Marking her return to Tamil cinema after almost two years, Taapsee Pannu shares screen space with South star Vijay Sethupathi in a horror comedy. The film is an follows a small-time burglar Rudra (Taapsee) who enters a royal house full of ghosts. And well, she ends up solving the spooky mystery shrouding its owner, Anabelle Sethupathi.

We love movies with a strong inspiring messages and this musical is no different. 16-year-old Jamie New doesn’t quite fit in with other teenagers in his school.
