7 Binge-Worthy Titles To Watch This Month On Netflix, Disney+Hotstar And Amazon Prime Video

1. The Kissing Booth 3

The third part of the hit rom-com based on the Kissing Booth books by Beth Reekles, revolves around the summer before Elle (Joey King) heads to college, and the hardest decisive moment she’s ever faced- to move across the country to join her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) or to live up to her promise to go to college with her childhood BFF Lee (Joel Courney). What’s Elle going to do?

2. Shershaah

Based on true events, Shershaah is a war biopic based on celebrated Indian Army officer Captain Vikram Batra’s life, played by Siddarth Malhotra. Set in the 1999 Kargil War, the title of the film is coined after Capt. Batra’s nickname. Also starring Kiara Advani as his fiancée, the film is the perfect dose of action, drama and history you need this month.

3. Bhuj: The Pride Of India

Packed with tones of nationalism, the film stars Ajay Devgn and is said to be inspired by 1971 Indo-Pak war. This is the story of how officer Vikram Karnik, along with the help of around 300 women from a nearby village, re-built the Bhuj airport that was destroyed in combat. Set to release ahead of Independence Day, the film is your Aug 15 watch.

4. Memories of a Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes

In this true crime documentary, notorious British serial killer Dennis Nilsen narrates his life and horrific crimes via a series of chilling audiotapes recorded from his jail cell. He confesses to having killed at least 15 men between the 1970s and 1980s.

5. Comedy Premium League: Season 1 

Hosted by Prajakta Koli, this competition will see 16 comedians engage in satirical debates and battle of the wits and wisecracks. Look forward to the likes of Sumukhi Suresh, Kaneez Surka and Amit Tandon tickling your funny bone as they try their best to be crowned as the ultimate comedy champs.

6. The Empire

Alex Rutherford’s novel series, Empire of the Moghul, comes alive as India’s first-ever digital magnum opus, The Empire. It’s the story of a king battling against his enemies, fate, family, death and even himself.

7. Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo

Marie Kondo is finally returning to Netflix, and this time she’ll not only be tidying up, but also give us a peek into her personal life, family and get a glimpse of what sparks joy for her. Marie will be back with the fundamentals of tidying and the transformative experience that follows.
