Cubist prints, swimwear with leather inserts, and bejeweled saris for destination weddings
Swimwear got an artistic makeover in the hands of Shivan & Narresh, who turned to 20th century Mexican artist Diego Rivera for inspiration. It made for vibrant cubist prints on the runway.
The accessories got bolder. Think jeweled egg-shaped crocodile leather bags with scalloped straps.
It wouldn’t be a Shivan & Narresh show without bejeweled saris and neoprene lehegas now would it? We’re all set for a destination wedding, in case anyone’s planning.
The gladiator shoes got waaay edgier, inching all the way up to the thighs.

The beauty look was minimal with fresh faces, and slicked back hair. “Think Moroccan spas and hammams – the look is straight out of that landscape – glazed eyelids, sleek hair, dewy skin,” said Narresh Kukreja in his note.
