As the quintessential sari got a designer makeover, Bollywood celebrities were quick to show us different takes on it. If you're looking to get with the trend, maybe just try a new fabric – like Huma Qureshi did, with her Shivan & Narresh lycra sari. Or start with a sari gown, where the drapes of a sari are beautifully twisted into a gown, like Shriya Saran’s Gaurav Gupta number or Divya Khosla Kumar’s Sonaakshi Raaj ensemble. If you like traditional woven saris take inspiration from Neha Dhupia and pair it with a boxy blouse. Or just throw on a cape or jacket, like Sonam Kapoor did. Either way, a little inventiveness will get you a long way.
