Boy, did Hollywood turn up the heat or what

The 2020 award season officially kicked off tonight with the 77th annual Golden Globe AwardsOh yas, we’re talking about striking and breathtaking looks from nominees and presenters such as Jennifer Lopez (who was dressed as an actual bouquet from your grandmum’s house), Billy Porter (who, as usual, did not come to play), Jennifer Aniston (dressed exactly like we would when we’d like to run into our ex) and Gwyneth Paltrow (who let her abs be the most striking aspect of her ensemble). Below, we’re showcasing the best red carpet moments that are just too good to miss out on.

Meet mom and dad. 'nuff said!
Charlize Theron wore the Hollywood version of a saree. And rocked it.
Taylor Swift had a (big) moment with prints.
Billy Porter reminded us why he's the king of red carpets.
Margot Robbie was ready to party on the top, and meant business at the bottom.
Scarlett Johansson looked like a Christmas present we'd all love.
Gwyneth Paltrow's abs had our full attention.
Dakota Fanning owned this Disney princess ensemble.
Jennifer Aniston looked more than ready to "run into" Brad Pitt. You go, girl!
Rooney Mara embraced the Princess Leia inside her.
Zoë Kravitz was a dotted vision in YSL.
Nicole Kidman played it safe and still wowed.
Renée Zellweger once again proved that she doesn't age.
Joey King was an optical illusion.
Kerry Washington, as always, meant business.
Saoirse Ronan's slinky gown marked a new high for bedazzled dresses.
A literal gift. JLO know's what's up.
Naomi Watts channeled '80s Hollywood glam.
Sandra Bullock resembled our favourite condiment.
Winnie Harlow did what she does best. Arrived like a literal smoke show.
Sofia Vergara looked like an actual sculpture. Which is to say she basically looked like a piece of art.
Reese Witherspoon was shining in all-white.
The green, the earrings, the eyeliner. YAASS, Jodie Comer.
