Handloom meets powerdressing at Abraham & Thakore A/W ‘17

Jaunty ties and flouncy separates graced the runway as designers Abraham and Thakore took up the mantle of giving workwear basics their unique makeover. Simple separates in pure cotton? Yes, please.

Preconceived gender notions took a time-out on the runway as male and female models strutted down in similar outfits, scoring another hit for gender fluidity. When you tore your eyes away from the easy separates, there was the fusion footwear to look at: The Shoe Factory threw together the virtues of the brogue and the traditional mojri, and the result is an efficient hybrid that looks capable of taking the day on, even when you can’t.

It’s hard to pick one favourite look from the ivory extravaganza, which is why we’ve curated a list of the top ten to let you do the deciding.
