H&M has done it again. While you were sleeping (or partying) on Saturday night, Alexander Wang sneakily took to Instagram to announce his collaboration with the Swedish high-street brand. It was his first post on the photo-sharing social network. A simple video with field lights after which a countdown appears, and when the timer runs out ‘WANG x H&M’ pops up along with the numbers 11:06 leaving us to assume that the collection will launch on November 6 this year.
Sunday morning, Wang posted another video that showcased a pair of blue arms (?!) with the hashtag Alexander Wang x HM.
Wang has recently showcased his third collection for Balenciaga after becoming their Creative Director in 2012. This will be his first major collaboration.
Wang x HM follows the high-street giant’s collaboration with Isabel Marant last year, and with Maison Martin Margiela and Marni before that.
With H&M slated to launch in India this year, our fingers are crossed.
