We’ve been dying to get a peek at Alexander Wang’s collection for H&M since April when the collaboration was announced at the Coachella Valley Music Festival. After all these months of waiting, we finally saw the official lookbook, released yesterday at a press conference, and we weren’t disappointed. The collection of sporty clothes and accessories oozes cool: there are performance T-shirts that were custom-blended in Italy and bear a hidden message that only appears when you sweat.
Ever since Rihanna gave us a preview of the range wearing a crop top and leggings, back in September during New York Fashion Week, we've been waiting to make our wishlist. Our favourite stand out pieces include the scuba dress with interwoven layers and cut-out waist detail, the black leather backpacks and of course the jacquard beanies. For performance wear, the designer has included reflective leggings, quick-dry black running tops, and perforated laser-cut shorts branded with Alexander Wang in silver mesh.
Wang is the youngest designer to collaborate with the Scandinavian retailer and his name and initials are embossed on the sweatshirts, pullovers and even on a pair of boxing gloves. Scroll through entire collection to scope of the looks before flocking to H&M’s store and website next month.
The collection hits 240 H&M stores and Hm.com on November 6 with select pieces available on Alexanderwang.com
