Helming various positions in the artistic background, the list celebrates real-life personalities like Aditi Singh (Pole Dancer), Ishika Madaan (Visual Artist), Ishaan Bharat (Aerial Dancer and Visual Artist), Ayushi Tyagi (Textile Designer and Model), Tarini Sethi (Artist, Sculptor and founder of the Irregulars Art Fair), Jyoti Ann Burrett (Football Player), Mukta Singh (Painter), and Anoushka David (Model).

The line focuses on inventive constructions, intricate techniques, and effortless fluidity, which is a signature element in all of Amit’s garments. Breezy fabrics like linen, satin, and chiffon are cut into geometrical shapes to offer design versatility and natural mobility while embracing the curves. 22 different silhouettes varying from dresses and pre-stitched saris to jumpsuits, capes, and jackets with metallic polymer detailing, handweaving, and gradient printing and are a part of this prêt-à-porter line. Continuing with his trademark tones, the colour palette comprises shades of sage, moss, olive, forest green, ink blue, plum, ice grey, pewter, and charcoal.

Amit is known for extracting the essence of nature and transferring it into a unique fashion language. It’s wearable art that narrates a sartorial story even when it’s not couture. “The collection started with the simple idea, to examine the three forms that lie at the centre ethos of this universe- circle, square, and triangle. We went ahead and created a collection that is built entirely from fabrics cut in exactly either of these shapes. Catalyst focuses on the amalgamation of construction, technique, and silhouettes that lean in to create fluid and amorphous structures that highlight and elevate each nuance. While each outfit may look complex, I believe, at the core of the collection, it is the simplicity of the idea that gives it steam, ” shared the designer.
