If your poison of choice is cold-pressed juice, Antidote – super nutritious and explosive with complex, layered flavours – is for you. The ingredients are all-natural; you have to consume what you buy within a day or two. The juices and milks are substantial, and if you’re masochistic enough to go on a juice cleanse, these will be your best friends. You can follow one of Antidote’s several cleanse programs, listed on their website – they’ll deliver their stylish bottles anywhere in Delhi and Gurgaon. Juices include the busy Polisher, with combines the sweetness of pear and pineapple with the spice of arugula and ginger, tempered by green tea, among other ingredients. It’s fruity, but with a sharp aftertaste. Other drinks are more veggie-heavy. For the dairy-averse, the “mylks” (as Antidote has them) are all made with almond milk and include one pick-me-up with espresso and pumpkin, which tastes a bit like a chilled Starbucks latte, and a crowd-pleasing “Sexy Mylk”, made from almond milk, unsweetened cocoa, raw cane sugar, and bee pollen. Yes, bee pollen – although it’s the heady juices that are more likely to leave you with a light buzz.
