The new Myntra ad campaign opens with Anushka Sharma casually walking down a street when she notices a fashion billboard. Instantly in love with the yellow pantsuit on display, she launches the Myntra app on her smartphone and uses it to scan the outfit. The app throws up the same chic pantsuit, ready to be shopped in real time. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is browsing through some colourful sneakers and trendy jackets on the Myntra app, before settling on one. Myntra’s new TVC drives home the fact that shopping on its app is as easy as it looks.

No wonder Anushka and Virat are hooked to the brand’s new anthem, ‘Go Myntra-la-la’. Does the catchy anthem sound familiar? It’s a spin on LaVern Baker’s famous song Tra–la–la.
Anushka and Virat are Myntra’s first brand ambassadors and it’s easy to see why the power couple is a perfect fit for the homegrown e-commerce platform. The duo represent the young, confident and successful India, everything that new-age brand stands for.
The ad campaign highlights various features that set apart Myntra from other shopping apps. The Visual Search option lets you click a picture of any product you’ve been looking for, and search for it on the app. Moreover category stores, like the Sneaker Store, show you curated options. The Try & Buy option takes the hesitancy out of online shopping by enabling you to physically try out multiple outfits from the comfort of your home before making the final purchase. Lastly, Myntra Insider, the brand’s loyalty program, will make sure it’s always a win-win situation for you.
Amar Nagaram, Head, Myntra-Jabong, said, “Myntra has transformed the overall dynamics of the online fashion industry by offering shoppers unmatched experiences. The association of Bollywood and sport with fashion needs no introduction and hence having Virat and Anushka as the face of this new campaign will enable us to build strong brand salience and establish the joy and convenience of shopping on Myntra.”
